Thanks, Mitch, I agree with what you've said.
There is in fact quite a lot that goes into being a competent, effective and gifted sound healing practitioner.
Quite a lot more than just hitting a bowl.... and even there, I am occasionally shocked and appalled by the
lack of sensitivity and skill in people who are actively billing themselves as "sound healers".
I'm rather 'old school' with all this as I see it as something where practitioners are best to spend a number
of years, learning and practicing, immersing in the sound, apprenticing and being mentored if they should
be so lucky...before putting their sign out.
Of course this also doesn't mean anyone shouldn't get a bowl, or other instruments, and begin working with it
